Using your inbox
Drafts and formatting
Save unfinished email and write clear, formatted messages.
Automatic drafts
New messages and replies save automatically while you write. Wait for the save indicator before leaving. If saving fails, keep the editor open and retry instead of assuming the latest changes reached the server.
Open Drafts to continue. Reply drafts also reappear in their matching thread, with the sender, recipients and content you were working on. A draft has not been sent.
Sending clears the matching draft when the workflow succeeds. Discarding removes unfinished work, not received messages.
Formatting
Use the toolbar for bold, italic, underline, bulleted or numbered lists, and links. Select text before applying a style, or choose one and keep typing. Familiar keyboard shortcuts are supported where available in the editor.
Keep formatting simple: recipients’ apps may render it differently. Review links and recipients before sending.
The quick-compose window wraps formatting controls onto additional rows on narrow screens. Scroll inside the composer to reach the remaining fields, or choose Full screen for more writing room.
Sender selection
Choose a sending-ready address in your organization. All organization members can use every inbox; other organizations stay separate.
Changing sender replaces the current signature, including edits to that signature, without changing your message. It does not add another signature underneath. Quoted signatures from earlier emails stay unchanged.
Multiple recipients, Cc and Bcc
Type an email address and press Enter or Tab to add it. Commas, semicolons and pasted lists work too. Click an address to edit it or its × to remove it. Highlighted addresses need correcting before sending.
Choose Cc / Bcc in a new message or reply to add more recipients. Cc recipients are visible to everyone; Bcc recipients are hidden from other recipients. Reply all adds the conversation’s suggested Cc recipients. Drafts keep your To, Cc and Bcc fields.
